Jacob Grouser, Partner in the Environmental & Toxic Tort Department, has authored an article titled "The New Jersey Supreme Court Rules That Spill Act Contribution Claims Are Not Subject to a Statute of Limitations". On January 26, 2015, the New Jersey Supreme reversed the Appellate Division’s decision in Morristown Associates v. Grant Oil, et al. In doing so, it held that the six-year statute of limitations contained in N.J.S.A. 2A:14-1 did not apply to Spill Act contribution claims.
