Patrick J. McDonald Presents Dictionaries to Local School for New Brunswick Rotary Club’s Dictionary Project
On December 5th, partner Patrick J. McDonald presented dictionaries to the 3rd grade class at Paul Robeson Community School for the Arts as a part of the New Brunswick Rotary Club's Dictionary Project. The Dictionary project provides every 3rd grader with a special dictionary with the goal of encouraging local students to become good writers, active readers, creative thinkers, and resourceful learners.
Since its implementation in 1995, over 18 million children have received their very own dictionaries based on generous support from thousands of people all across the country and organizations such as Rotary Club, Lions Club, Kiwanis Club and many more. Patrick McDonald has been a member of the New Brunswick Rotary Club for over 10 years and is an active member and advocate for ensuring the gift of literacy for future generations.
