Hoagland Longo Sponsors 2024 Black History Month Celebration

As we take a moment this month to recognize the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans in U.S. history, Hoagland Longo is again proud to sponsor the annual Black History Month Celebration. The event is hosted by the Minorities in the Profession Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and will take place on February 22, 2024 at the New Jersey Law Center.

This year’s event will feature a keynote address from The Honorable Mayor Ras J. Baraka, musical performances, spotlight artists, and winners of this year’s Black History Month essay who will share excerpts from their winning essays on the issue of racial segregation in schools.

The NJSBA Minorities in the Profession Section seeks to voice the interests and concerns of minority attorneys through educational forums and dissemination of information. The Section also encourages minorities to join the legal profession.
