Hoagland Longo Honored by the Central New Jersey Community Development Corporation
The firm was honored with the Corporate Partner Award from the Central Jersey Community Development Corporation (CJCDC) at a breakfast held at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick on Tuesday, January 6, 2015.
“Our 2015 honorees represent a unique set of Central Jersey residents who continuously use their influence, resources and energy to aid and advocate for our work. We welcome them to our roster of CJCDC award recipients that exemplify the best of philanthropy, compassion, and generosity,” said Reverend DeForest B. Soaries, Jr., the CEO and Chairman of the CJCDC.
CJCDC has served families and individuals in central New Jersey and throughout the state for 20+ years. Its mission, “Rebuilding Communities…One Family at a Time”, revolves around strengthening the core institution of every community: the family. Since its inception, the lives of over 8,200 families and youth have been impacted through the services it has provided. Its efforts are focused primarily on (1) financial literacy; (2) social and human services for our senior population; and (3) youth enrichment.
Awards were also bestowed upon other honorees: Steve Kalafer, Somerset Patriots Chairman (Legacy Leadership Award) and Reverend Tabiri Chukunta (Chris Kjeldsen Community Service Award) by Reverend Soaries, Jr.
