Andrea C. Mackaronis Elected as President of New Jersey Council of Collaborative Practice Groups and Mid-Jersey Collaborative Law Alliance

Hoagland Longo attorney Andrea C. Mackaronis is serving as President of both the New Jersey Council of Collaborative Practice Groups (NJCCPG) and the Mid-Jersey Collaborative Law Alliance (MJCLA) for the 2022-2023 term.

NJCCPG is nonprofit organization of collaborative divorce professionals committed to promote and expand quality collaborative practice in family matters throughout New Jersey. More information can be found on their website here.

Since 2009, the MJCLA has provided a platform for the implementation, development and promotion of the use of the collaborative legal process to resolve divorces and other family law related disputes in New Jersey. More information can be found in their website here.

As a Partner in the Family Law group at Hoagland Longo, Andrea is a staunch supporter of the collaborative process as a more effective path to divorce. By agreeing not to litigate, parties save time and money and reduce the stress and anxiety often associated with divorce. She has observed first-hand how collaborative divorce enables parties to separate with dignity and respect, while being afforded the strong support of their attorneys and other members of the professional team.

Andrea is skilled in all forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, arbitration, and collaborative law, but is also ready to litigate when necessary. Andrea is a past Chair of the Board of Coordinated Family Care, which is Middlesex County’s care management organization. She also serves as an Early Settlement Panelist in Middlesex County. She is appointed by the Court and chosen by colleagues to mediate family law matters and to serve as a parenting coordinator.
