Marc Gaffrey to Moderate the MCBA Environmental Law / Real Estate Law CLE Seminar
On Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 Marc S. Gaffrey will be moderating the MCBA Environmental Law/Real Estate Law CLE Seminar. The two hour event will begin at 5:00pm and will cover key environmental issues in residential and commercial real estate transactions.
Marc, Supervising Partner of the firm’s Environmental & Toxic Tort Litigation Department and current Co-Chair of MCBA’s Environmental Law committee, will be joined by speakers Lawra J. Dodge, PG, LSRP and Matthew J. Mauro, LSRP.
The seminar will focus on topics such as Underground Storage Tanks and how the presence of one can impact a transaction, Utilizing an Environmental Escrow Agreement to close transactions where a UST has leaked or must be removed, whether a seller should hire an Environmental Consultant or a Licensed Site Remediation Professional, and whether a buyer should require a No Further Action Letter (NFA) or a Response Action Outcome (RAO).
