Lawrence Powers to Present Professional Engineering Ethics Webinar
Lawrence Powers, Co-Chair of Hoagland Longo’s Construction Litigation Department, will be presenting the “Professional Engineering Ethics” program, hosted by the New Jersey Society of Professional Engineers (NJSPE) as part of their Continuing Education Webinar series. The discussion will focus on industry-related professional and statutory codes of ethics and regulatory ethics rules that engineers should consider in their profession to avoid professional liability, legal, licensure, moral and public health, safety and welfare issues.
For over three decades, Larry has litigated, arbitrated and mediated complex construction disputes. He serves as General Counsel to AIA-New Jersey, NJSPE and NJASLA and regularly represents design professionals in disciplinary matters before the New Jersey State Board of Architects and Landscape Architects, New Jersey State Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors, and the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional Board.
