Lawrence Powers to Present at NJSPLS SurvCon 2019
Lawrence Powers, Co-Chair of Hoagland Longo’s Construction Law Practice Group, will present at the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors’ (NJSPLS) SurvCon 2019 held from February 6-8 in Atlantic City.
Larry will present a course titled “Professional Ethics for Land Surveyors and Engineers” on February 8th from 8:00AM-12:00PM. The course will address the statutory and administrative code provisions that govern the ethical practice of surveying and engineering. The relevant Statutes and Administrative Code provisions and the Canons of Ethics of the National Society of Professional Surveyors and the National Society of Professional Engineers will be reviewed. These various provisions will be explained using the Socratic method and illustrated with examples, in order to provide the participants with guidance on the tenets of ethical practice. This presentation offers 4.0 CE credits in NJ/NY/PA.
