Andrew J. Carlowicz, Jr. to Present “Effective Construction Mediation” Seminar
Hoagland Longo partner Andrew J. Carlowicz, Jr., Co-Chair of the firm Construction Law Department, will present the seminar “Effective Construction Mediation” for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Hosted by the Construction Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, this educational program will involve feature a round table, interactive presentation with audience participation driving the agenda. The overarching theme will be: What do you dislike about what mediators do (and fail to do) that you would like to see change?
In his litigation practice spanning four decades, Andy represents architects, engineers, construction contractors, and private owners in various construction contract and delay claims, professional malpractice claims, change order disputes, property damage suits, building defect litigation, and construction site personal injury actions. At present the majority of his practice entails serving as a mediator or an arbitrator in construction-related disputes. Last year, he was named to the American Arbitration Association (AAA) “Master Panel of Mediators” for construction claim disputes.
The “Effective Construction Mediation” program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 1.2 hours of total CLE credit.
