Frank Kontely Wins Trial

On December 11, 2014, Frank Kontely completed a successful two-week jury trial before Judge Heidi Willis Currier in the Superior Court of Middlesex County.  The case arose out of a June 2011 incident in which plaintiff claimed to have slipped and fallen in the bathroom of a commercial building where he worked.  Plaintiff alleged that our client, the defendant cleaning company, was negligent and responsible for his personal injuries.  Plaintiff claimed pain and suffering damages and argued that he was entitled to substantial lost wages because he had been removed from his job as a special agent for the federal government due to his injuries.  At trial, the jury rendered a verdict in favor of our client, finding that our client’s conduct did not cause plaintiff’s injuries.  Therefore, plaintiff was not awarded any monetary damages.
