William J. Watt, Jr. is an associate in the firm’s General Liability Department, where he focuses his practice on the defense of civil matters, including those related to premises liability and automobile liability claims.

Prior to joining Hoagland Longo, William served as a law clerk to the Hon. Thomas M. Comer in the Monmouth County Superior Court. 

William earned his law degree at Rutgers Law School - Newark, where he served as Vice Chair of the Moot Court Board and Symposium Editor of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. In addition, he gained practical experience through Rutgers’s Education & Health Law Clinic and internships with the New Jersey Attorney General and Rutgers Law Associates. William received his B.A. degree at Stockton University. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
