Kenyette C. Jones is Of Counsel to the firm's Environmental and Toxic Tort Department. Her significant trial experience in federal and state courts spanning over two decades, in addition to an educational background rooted in chemical engineering and field experience at an oil company, inform her ability to defend clients in complex, high stakes disputes involving asbestos, toxic tort, mass tort and environmental matters.
Prior to joining Hoagland Longo, Kenyette managed her own law practice in the State of California for 20+ years, where she litigated thousands of criminal and civil cases. She also handled numerous appellate matters and defended clients in a wide variety of arbitrations and mediations. Before starting her own practice, Kenyette served as Deputy Public Defender, where she managed a high-volume caseload of criminal cases.
Kenyette earned her law degree at Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, California. While pursuing her B.A. degree in Chemical Engineering at Yale University, she interned as Process Engineer at Sun Oil Refining and Marketing Co., where she supervised environmental control projects and managed performance and operating issues. Kenyette is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and California. She is fluent in Farsi.
